Manchester: Prime Numbers retrospect

The last year been busy for our friends at Prime Numbers. Now a compilation documents what happend in Manchester during the last twelve month.

Before taking off to a little Australia DJ tour Prime Numbers man in charge David Wolstencroft (picture above) aka Trus Me managed to compile eleven eternal House tracks for those who don’t buy vinyl regularly.

Prime Numbers Vol.2 features a collection of tracks selected from last year’s EP releases combined with some forthcoming material. The tracks perfectly represent what the warm Prime Numbers sound is all about, with productions from artists like Fudge Fingas, Mr Scruff & Kaidi Tatham, Motor City Drum Ensemble, Wireman, and the fabulous Actress.

House music for a better tomorrow, that will soul your party with a deep bass driven sound architecture.

    Radio Show

    Since 2006 Benjamin Froehlich and Tom Bioly run Permanent Vacation, a record label that is hard to pigeonhole. The Munich based community switches from Balearic to Cosmic, back to Disco nuggets or edgy House without loosing its focus.

    Jazzanova Radio Show

    Jazz, Soul, Hip Hop, House, and Boogie: since 1996 the Berlin based DJ/producer collective Jazzanova are famous for deep rhythms. Now Jazzanova’s Alexander Barck mixed a Radioshow that looks back on their own work and some unheard releases of their label Sonar Kollektiv.

    Expect the unexpected: this month we are proud to present a Cómeme show with fresh and unreleased tracks by Matias Aguayo, Rebolledo, Diegors and Christian S. Be ready for an unabashed psychedelic mix where Space Disco meets jacking rhythms.

  • Exclusively and very personal: Carhartt Radio isn't just another DJ mix! Personally the creators themselves will broadcast selected music and individual shows. Label owners, DJs and artists will play, perform and talk about their own music and their backgrounds. That's the intimate amateur view, brought by pros.

    Versatility is the buzzword — from bubble-bath-soul to technical death metal, from booty beats to nerdy hip hop from girl-pop to eclectic dubstep. The labels and artists involved in this project will represent their own genre in the stream and show the diversity of the musical world we live in.
